Nyarlathotep

This is a horror game based on the lore of H.P. Lovecraft. I worked on this project with a small team of people, and I built models and textures as well as set dressed and helped throughout the design process. I worked with 6 other people on this. Project members: Kyle Bromley, Craig Mesaros, Cameron Jordan, Ashley Sarroca, Kiara Lowery, Doug Wilson. Project taskmaster: Jack Mamais

Flesh webbing for the Shoggoth Den

Picture
I sculpted this webbing in ZBrush, then baked it down to a plane and by using a multiply node to multiplying the diffuse by itself, we were able to get a nice slimy specularity without needing an additional specular map.

Flesh tablet key items

Picture
These tablets were originally going to be keys that the player needed to gather to pass a giant flesh eating doorway to enter the boss chamber, but the second half of the level was cut mid way into production and these tablets with them.

Cthulhu creature sculpt

Picture
At the beginning of this project, before we knew our demon god of choice was going to be Nyarlathotep, I did a lot of speed sculpts of creatures and items of Cthulhuian lore. This was one of my more successful passes at it.
